AI Capability Building
We build the skills each role needs, and we measure them. This is more than tool training.

Training hours are not the same as skills
In BCG's 2026 survey, 36% of respondents feel properly trained. 88% expect to need major upskilling within five years (BCG, AI at Work, 2026). EY found that employees with 81 or more hours of AI training a year save 14 hours a week, against 3 hours for those with fewer than four. Only 12% receive that level of training (EY, Work Reimagined Survey, 2025; 15,000 employees and 1,500 employers in 29 countries). AI leaders are 1.7 times as likely to report ongoing, role-based AI learning: 62% against 36% (PwC, AI Performance Study, 2026).
Skills for each role
We design learning around the priority workflows the Diagnostic finds. People learn on the work that matters most.
What we build
How deeply people use AI, not how often
We measure this for each priority role. We count who uses approved tools for advanced tasks in key workflows.
Protected learning time
People get set time for learning. BCG finds that leading companies are four times more likely to run structured AI-learning programmes with protected learning time (BCG, 2026).
How it runs
Early-career skills
We upskill and reskill people early in their careers, so they grow faster in roles that use AI.
Phase | Duration* | What you receive | Decision point | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
1 · Design the learning | ~2–3 weeks | Learning pathways around the priority workflows | Leaders approve the learning pathways.
Budget and order of work. | It is modular and experiential with a social learning aspect. |
2 · Facilitate | ~4–5 weeks | Programs delivery and related initial reporting | ||
3 · Follow-up | ~6–8 weeks | Initial report on related behavioural change, protected learning time, and job impact. | Leaders approve the selection of follow-up owners | Follow-up guidelines provided |
4 · Sustain | ~2–3 weeks | Social learning setup put in place. | Leaders approve the knowledge transfer champions |
* Duration depends on the company size and project scope
How it is measured
The Human Layer Diagnostic sets a starting point for AI skills in each role. At each re-score, we measure skills by role again. We also measure how deeply people use approved tools.
